In spite of heroic efforts by the Newtown nine and the brilliant hurling of Norwich and Keane, the Connors ran away with 9 to 4 and 12 to 7 victories while veteran Connor first sacker Scott Goodrich took the big prize of the day in the first 'Hits for Harmon' drawing.
